First Upcoming IBM’s Domino Tech School Webinar: Domino Query Language

The year 2018 has been an eventful year for the Domino community with the release of Domino 10, and renewed excitement around the future product enhancements and Domino 11 planning.

Continuing with events and webinars focusing on Domino 10 and its host of new features, this month IBM announced the next three webinars in a new series named “Domino Tech School”.

These educational one hour long webinars are geared towards Domino admins and developers, with topics shaped directly by the feedback from the Domino community.

The webinars will be led by experts from IBM and HCL, as well as by some of the IBM Champions.

The first webinar in the series is scheduled for January 24th.

This webinar will cover Domino Query Language (DQL) syntax, DominoQuery object in action in Lotusscript and Java, as well as set up and optimization. It will also review the upcoming capabilities that HCL will be releasing in the future.

DQL gives a powerful new tool to application developers who want to enable quick and malleable search results for existing database designs. DQL uses view indexes and NSF scanning with results injection for a faster retrieval than ever before.

As with the earlier Domino 10 webinars, this one will be presented by Luis Guirigay and Andrew Manby of IBM, with John Curtis of HCL also adding his expertise as a server-side developer.

Title: Domino Query Language Puts You in the Fast Lane

Date: Thursday, January 24, 2019

Time: 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time

Duration: 1 hour

The registration for the webinar can be found HERE.
