as meeting the following criteria:
- Active MSA (Master Service Agreement)
- At least one HCL Master on staff
- Validated HCL Digital Software product portfolio experience
- Global data center ability
- Ability to provide L1 (Level 1) & L2 (Level 2) support
- Ability to provide 24x7 support with the exception of scheduled maintenance
- Minimum 5 years of experience hosting and operating HCL (or IBM) products
- Agrees to host multi-tenant Connections, Sametime, and Domino for mail and apps (with the option of chat) in a private cloud
- Provides all major data-security certifications and compliance
- Meets or exceeds industry standard security and compliance requirements both physical and data

F.A.Q.s on Migration:
How will the migration from Connections Cloud to Prominic work for HCL Connections?
The goal is to make this as minimally disruptive to you as possible. We will work with IBM who will be extract your data files, which we will be importing into our cloud. HCL is actively working with IBM on developing the necessary tools and scripts. The import tools will be available to Prominic in Q2 2020.
What technical options do customers have for mail migration?
Reach out to us. We will provide a tool to assess your SCN mail usage and discuss the mail migration strategy based on architecture defined by HCL and IBM. More details will be available shortly.
When will my data stored in Connections Cloud no longer be accessible?
Data will no longer be accessible after July 16, 2020.
What happens to content that is in the Connections Cloud?
After July 16, 2020, the data will be removed, and longer accessible except some limited personal user data in backups for up to 90 days, when the backups will expire. Please see You can find more details and links to the sections of the Cloud Services description HERE, under FAQs.
What will happen with my mail archive?
IBM is working with Barracuda to determine the recommended approaches to dealing their Sonian mail archives past July 16, 2020, to ensure legal compliance. More details on what is being planned will be forthcoming from IBM.
Will I be able to keep my audio-conferencing service as part of the Meetings Cloud?
No. The audio-conferencing service will terminate with the Meetings service on July 16, 2020. However, IBM and HCL will work with clients, to ensure a continuation of service directly with the vendor involved, if desired. Further details will be forthcoming, including a separate communication.
Is your HCL Connections environment a private cloud dedicated only to me?
By default, HCL Connections cloud is multi-tenant. If you’re interested in a private cloud implementation, contact us to discuss your needs.
Does Prominic run on public clouds like AWS, Azure, etc?
No. Prominic.NET owns and operates its own data centers in the United States, and we fully control the environment that the Domino servers run in. In other countries, we colocate our hosting platform in enterprise-grade data centers. In all cases, your data is in your own private cloud.
When will you have available pricing and licensing information?
We are communicating with HCL while the contract process is still in progress. Once finalized, we will make our pricing and licensing information for migration available in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please reach out to us to start the conversation so we can keep you informed promptly.

We serve customers worldwide.
In what country is my data located?
Our primary data centers are located in the United States. We also have data centers in the Netherlands, Italy, and partners with data centers in Switzerland, and Asia-Pacific.
Can you also host Domino applications?
Yes! Our Domino private cloud platform can host both mail and applications.
Can you also host Verse or Notes Mail?
Yes. We host HCL Notes and Verse On-Premises and provide a migration path for current Connections Cloud customers.
