Acceptable Use Policy

 

 

By subscribing to a Prominic.NET, Inc. service, you agree not to use, or permit the use of that service, for any purpose that Prominic finds unacceptable. For the purposes of this policy, Prominic considers the transmission of spam to be unacceptable. IMPORTANT NOTE: IF YOU ARE FOUND IN VIOLATION OF THIS ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY, YOUR ACCOUNT MAY BE SUSPENDED OR TERMINATED WITHOUT NOTICE, AND WITHOUT REFUND, AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF PROMINIC.

UNLAWFUL USE

You may not use or permit the use of Prominic services for any purpose that may be deemed unlawful or tortuous. Prominic prohibits the transmission of material considered threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, profane, or otherwise objectionable, including without limitation any transmissions constituting or encouraging conduct that would result in a criminal offense or civil liability, or otherwise violate any local, state, national or international laws or regulations.

DELETERIOUS USE

You may not:

(I) transmit any information or software which contains a virus, worm, Trojan Horse, or other harmful component;

(II) use any process, program or tool for the purpose of guessing passwords, or making any unauthorized attempt to access or otherwise corrupt the integrity of any other data, system or network;

(III) transmit any information, software or other material that is protected by copyright or other proprietary right (including trade secret materials), or derivative works thereof, without obtaining permission of the copyright owner or right holder;

(IV) transmit any unsolicited bulk e-mail (also known as “spam”).

CONTENT CONTROL

Prominic provides access to various forms of content that are available over the Internet. Prominic takes no responsibility to monitor or screen such content, however, Prominic reserves the right to block or limit access to content deemed to be harmful, offensive, or otherwise in violation of this Acceptable Use Policy. Furthermore, Prominic reserves the right to monitor and to disclose any information as deemed necessary to satisfy any law, to operate its services properly, or to protect itself or its subscribers.

NETWORK INTEGRITY

In order to protect the integrity of Prominic’s hosting provisioning system and ensure uninterrupted service, Prominic may disable any account in which customer activity, or those using its access, subverts, conflicts with, or interferes with Prominic’s computers, routers, systems or network. Please refer to the Account Isolation Policy for more information.

This document may be modified at any time and will be in effect 30 days after online posting.
